The customer submits a credit application through Synchrony's integration on an eCommerce storefront, merchant website, partner Point of Sale (POS), or mobile app.

Available offers are presented through the JavaScript UniFi Advertising Widget. If applicable, the Multi-Product Prequalification call to action is displayed. An iFrame is presented to the customer.

The customer is authenticated and the Digital Point of Sale (DPOS) Token Generation is called.

The DPOS Transaction Lookup and Digital Buy APIs allow the customer to complete the purchase.
Customer Journey
While shopping on a partner's site, the customer views a specific item during their shopping journey or at checkout.
The UniFi Advertising Widget presents available financing offers for the customer to complete their purchase.
Offer details are presented for customer review.
The customer selects the offer and applies for credit to complete the purchase.

Authorize credit allowing merchant partners to settle, reverse, or refund a purchase.

Send a partially prefilled form to the customers mobile device or email to streamline application process.

Card on File streamlines the returning customer checkout experience by storing a Synchrony-generated Stored Payment Token (SPT) after a customer's first successful Digital Buy transaction, which the merchant can then pass back on subsequent visits to automatically retrieve the customer's account information without requiring them to re-enter their card details.
