Consumer Self Service (CSS)
How To Use This API
The Patient Data Service can be used to generate links to Consumer Self Service (CSS). When this service is called with the appropriate data, it can return partner links. All activity on partner links will be attributed to a partner (via the partner code). The service can also return patient links which may contain preapproval offers, payment info and patient info prefill. All activity on patient links will be attributed to a provider (via the Merchant ID or MID), and a partner (via partner code) if applicable. Both these links allow patients/clients to easily apply and transact using own device and aid in post-activity reconciliation.
The Quickscreen Service can be used to check a consumer or patient’s preapproval status. For CSS, “X-SYF-ChannelId=NATE ” can be passed in header along with appropriate data elements to identify if patient/client is pre-approved for credit or is an existing cardholder. A patient or partner link will also be returned in the service and can be shared with patient/client to apply and transact using their own device.
